Songwriter onboarding

Getting started is simple.

Most of onboarding is getting your catalog information in one place. Here's what to expect and what to have ready.

Steps

  1. 1

    Intro call

We learn about your catalog and goals, and explain what we'd do and how fees work.

  2. 2

    Written agreement

Scope, fees and term are set out in writing before anything is registered.

  3. 3

    Catalog intake

You share your song list and details; we check them for gaps and conflicts.

  4. 4

    Registrations

We register and file what's missing, and confirm what's already in place.

What to prepare

  • A list of your songs (title, release date if released, ISRC if you have it)
  • Your PRO (e.g. ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, GMR) and your IPI/CAE number, if affiliated
  • Co-writers and agreed splits for each song (or what's still undecided)
  • Any existing publishing, admin or co-publishing agreements
  • Your distributor and any accounts you already have (The MLC, SoundExchange)

Don't have all of this? That's normal. We'll help you fill the gaps.

Let's look at your catalog.

Every engagement starts with a short conversation about your songs, your registrations and your goals. Scope and fees are agreed in writing before any work starts.
