Services

Publishing administration for independent writers.

Streams, radio, live performances and sync all generate royalties, but only when the paperwork is right. We handle registrations, splits, filings and tracking.

PRO, MLC & SoundExchange Registration

Royalties only get paid when your works and recordings are registered correctly. We register your songs and writer information with your performing rights organization and The MLC, and help set up SoundExchange where you're owed digital performance royalties on your recordings.

  • PRO affiliation guidance (e.g. ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, GMR)
  • Work registrations with accurate splits and IPI numbers
  • The MLC registration and matching for U.S. streaming mechanicals
  • SoundExchange registration for featured artists and recording owners

Royalty Collection & Tracking

We keep track of where your songs should be earning and review statements so gaps get spotted and followed up. Where collection runs through an administrator or partner, we explain the options and terms before you sign anything.

  • Statement review and reconciliation
  • Unmatched and unclaimed royalty follow-up
  • Plain-English reporting
  • Guidance on admin deals and what they cost you

Split Sheets

Most publishing disputes start with a session nobody wrote down. We draft split sheets and help co-writers agree on ownership while everyone still remembers who wrote what.

  • Split sheet templates and drafting
  • Collecting co-writer signatures and IPI details
  • Matching splits across PRO and MLC registrations
  • Record-keeping for your catalog

Copyright & Song Registration

We prepare and file copyright registrations for your songs (and recordings, where needed) with the U.S. Copyright Office, and keep your registration records in one place. Government filing fees are paid to the Copyright Office.

  • Choosing the right application type
  • Preparing deposits and ownership details
  • Tracking filings and certificates
  • Keeping registration data consistent across your catalog

Sync Licensing Paperwork

Placing music in film, TV, games and ads starts with a catalog that's ready to clear. We prepare the paperwork and support you when a license request comes in.

  • Sync-ready catalog prep: metadata, stems, instrumentals
  • One-stop clearance readiness (publishing + master)
  • Reviewing license requests and terms
  • Quote and license record-keeping

Catalog Admin & Audits

A catalog audit compares what you've written and released with what's actually registered, so missing, duplicate or conflicting registrations can be fixed.

  • Catalog inventory: titles, writers, splits, ISWC/ISRC
  • Registration gap and conflict check
  • Fix-list with priorities
  • Ongoing catalog maintenance as you release new songs

You keep ownership of your songs. Scope and fees are agreed in writing before any work starts. We are not a law firm; for contract disputes or formal legal advice we'll recommend you speak with a music attorney.

Not sure if your songs are registered?

Send us your catalog list and we'll review it with you. It's the fastest way to find out what's missing.
